BOTOX Cosmetic and Jeuveau are prescription products with different formulations and product-specific dosing. What Is Jeuveau?
Jeuveau, or prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs, is another botulinum toxin type A neuromodulator used for cosmetic treatment.
Sometimes called “Newtox,” Jeuveau entered the U.S. aesthetic market more recently than Botox and was developed specifically for aesthetic use.
Jeuveau is FDA-approved to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate-to-severe glabellar lines, commonly called frown lines or “11 lines,” between the eyebrows in adults.
Clinical studies have shown visible improvement in some patients as early as Day 2, although every patient responds differently and your final result should not be judged immediately after treatment.
